REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • A proven experience track record as an IT Director/Head of Digital Transformation or in a similar leadership role
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align technology with business goals and work in a matrix organisation
  • Leadership Skills: Outstanding organizational, communication, and team development abilities
  • High-level of energy, engagement and commitment, combined with enthusiasm and positive thinking
  • Outstanding Project Management and change management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, and hardware/software
  • Fluent in English, and at least one of the following languages: Italian or German

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership
  • Define the company’s technology vision and roadmap, aligning it with business objectives
  • Lead the development and execution of IT strategies, emphasizing innovation and efficiency
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, leveraging AI, ML, IoT, etc. to enhance operational effectiveness
Infrastructure Management
  • Oversee all technology operations, including network security, system administration, and cloud infrastructure
  • Evaluate existing systems and propose enhancements to optimize performance and scalability
  • Ensure robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Project Management
  • Manage a portfolio of technology projects, from inception to completion
  • Collaborate with project teams to define scope, deliverables, and timelines
  • Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and ensure successful project outcomes, overseeing cost control
Team Leadership
  • Lead a team of IT managers, providing mentorship and guidance
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Coordinate with other departments to align technology solutions with business needs
Budget and Vendor Management
  • Control the IT budget, optimizing resource allocation
  • Build strong relationships with technology vendors and negotiate cost-effective contracts
